Default Crashes not recognized on the ground?

Hello all,

I'm having an odd problem with my install of IL-2 1946. For some reason, whenever I crash into the ground, the plane doesn't recognize the damage, thereby making it possible to survive every crash landing so long as any bomb load doesn't explode. This also happens in the water. Even smashing my plane at high speeds into the ground straight down causes it to bounce back up.

Any help would be appreciated!

By the way, if this is on the wrong forum(which I doubt, don't see any other IL-2 centric ones), please move it.

EDIT: If I can, I'll try to take a screenshot and/or video soon.

EDIT 2: I believe I'm running 4.07m downloaded from Amazon.

Yeah, I wish it was as simple as that. I've checked many times, and that is sadly not the cause. I can still get shot down and everything, just no damage when i hit the ground. Hitting anything else, including ground objects such as trees or buildings, or other airplanes, still causes damage.

The only way to reproduce this behavior is to turn off the "Vulnerability" and "Realistic Landings" difficulty settings. Check the difficulty settings again.

It was the realistic landings setting! Thanks a lot!
