Exclamation Aircraft Handling in PS3 Demo

Firstly Hi to all as this is my first post.

Thinking of getting BoP and have had the demo downloaded for quite a while now but the handling of the aircraft in Realistic and Sim on the demo is putting me off buying it.

Now im not a spitfire Ace, but I am a commercial pilot and I have done a few hours aerobatics (not in my airliner! but in a Tiger Moth) and the BoP Demo really does miss the mark when it comes to SIM flying, IL-2 for the PC is alot more realistic, which is why im so suprised with the BoP demo.

Even with the elevator and aileron sensitivity turned right down on the Spit I still spend the whole time with the red "STALL" up all the time, even when performing simple loops with WEP.

Has this been tweaked in the full version? Maybe its because im using the keypad? Maybe I am just a really bad pilot

Any Thoughts?

Elevator sensitivity to half and you don't see any red stall symbol when you fly on sim mode. I don't have the demo anymore so I can't compare it but in the full version loops etc. are very easy to pull off without stalling.

The realistic mode stall warning isn't a real stall warning, it's more like a within-50-kph-of-stall warning. You can safely ignore it and just judge by the plane's reactions.

once you get the hang of it, it gets much easier. Theres regular flights on sim mode with people doing all kinds of crazy things. You also have to be gentle with the stick and think of it as a mini flight stick (are you using a pad or keyboard, i wasnt sure from your post)

I'm not a real pilot but i doubt you'd pull the stick back in your airliner all the way as fast as you could (well the time it takes to pull the control pad stick back anyway) and expect it to be smooth.

I'm pretty sure the ps3 patch did fix some of the funkier flight models. The p-51 for example.

But yeah generally PC flight sims and especially IL-2 do have more realistic physics and aircraft handling but on the consoles, you won't find anything finer.
