Spitfire in german hands, doesnt "look right" though would you agree?


If anyone has any other pics of "captured" planes, by any nation then get them posted

Doesnt look as good as that B-17 with Luftwaffe markings.

I'll still take the 109 over it.

At least it still has its own engine. Ive got a book that has a picture of a captured mkV Spitfire fitted with a Daimler benz. If weren't for the iconic wings you wouldn't recognise it as a spit.

Wow that must have been a good plane. A manouverable spit with the most under rated engine of the war...the good ol' fuel injected DB 601-605 series.
