I don't listen to music when i'm playing, 'cos I find it puts me off (plus the in-game music is pretty good)
If I did though, it would be Metal... stuff like Pantera, Meshuggah, Mastadon, Maiden, maybe a bit of Tool.

Nah, if you're going to go with dance music its got to be some of this:

or this....

I don't mind a bit of trance (in fact, my band has got a big trance section in one of our songs), but I really have to be in the right state of mind, if you catch my drift.

And +1 back to I.S. for the metal.... good to know there's another metalhead around here!

LOL yeah, but I doubt that's recommended for war-time pilots But the game looks so pretty...

And I love ma DnB too, so anything from Ram Records would also be sweet. But it doesn't matter what you listen to, if it drops as you move in on someone's six it's media perfection

I dunno, i'm sure I read somewhere that pilots used "pep pills" during the war, and I think they were some type of early Amphetamine.... and IIRC USAF pilots (probably RAF too) use some type of more modern drug that does the same thing.
Granted, I doubt that these things would make you trip out or anything...

You're right though... 'tis a pretty game.

As for DnB... I don't mind a bit of that myself, or I didn't when I was going out clubbing "back in the day".... couldn't really name and names though... but I could never deal with DnB with people rapping or MC'ing on it... that used to really piss me off.
