hi im getting invites from quite a few players from here
i think reddisback was one
i dont want anyone to think im ignoring them well i am sort of
but monday nights my best mate comes round and we play on xbox thats why im not answering invites etc

after 10pm im free to play online so if your all still around we can play

Now that you brought this up. I too get regular invites. I used to try to at least answer then all, but I have allot of BOP friends on Xbox live. If I don't respond, I am either in another battle and I do not like to bail while I am already in a match. Or, I am doing something else. The past couple days and nights, I have been watching a series on NetFlix with the xbox streaming with the family. So, please excuse me if I do not join you. If I am free, I will certainly join you...

I've blocked invitees who don't bother to check to see if I am even online yet...

I sign on and I have like 8 messages that I have to go and delete every day...

Yeah mate. I invited you last night and as i recall even today.
but no worries, i see you when you there.
there are allot of people.

I think everyone should remember that once you send an invite, let it be. If it was ignored the first time, it's going to be ignored the next 20 times you sen it.

That depends, I usually send an invite again when I'm in another lobby. Just to give the invitees the opportunity to join again. For example, when someone is playing another game, but doesn't switch disks in time, they miss the opportunity to join in that lobby. The next time I send and invite they might be able to join right away.

People on my friends list will usually send me an invite and i'll decline if im busy yet try to send a message saying that i'll hopefully be in as soon as i can. My problem is "randomers"

by that i mean people who are NOT on my friends list but on my "recently played" list. Im still getting game invites today from a guy i played 4 days ago who i dont know. I remember him well because he was a dick... here's what he would do -

You would join his room, it would be TDM and 4 people in the room. 3 players are in the 109 and i am in the spitfire. Now Just as the timer reaches zero all three of the other players pick team A!!!!!! so im left in a dogfight on my own in a spitfire against 3 109's.

Clearly obvious they know each other and this was their plan all along.

But that said -

i pity them, they were shocking!! It wasnt that they were so bad, but from my point of view as the lone player, they were not worknig together as a team at all. All 3 were on my 6 trying to get the kill. Couple of time they collided with each other and even better was that being able to out turn them in the spit, they are still stupid enough to get into a turn fight with me... ALL 3 OF THEM!! so when i get on the 6 of 1 of them...i have a choice of 3 to shoot at because i end up chasing all 3.

I would gladly play them again haha.

Well that's actually a good thing to do, I was referring to getting 5 or more invites within a couple of minutes. I haven't seen anyone do it from this particular forum really, but it happens.

ppl from here are great guys to fly with
i just worry that if i dont join there games they might think im ignoring
them on purpose

i dont like offending ppl if you understand what i mean

Know exactly what you mean mate.

I try not to offend either or get people to dislike me, but sometimes it cant be helped. After playing with robotic pope the other night (first time flying with him) a few choice words came out regarding the enemy (mostly because of my own stupid mistakes) and generally i made myself sound like an arse i think, so no doubt robotic probably think im one to stay away from because of it lol.

Great bunch in here though, one of the best forums i've come across to date.
