Default Any IL-2 beta-test veterans out there?

IL-2 beta test back in June 2001.
Now almost 2010 IL-2 (46) still on my harddrive!
A lot of value for money!!!
Fantastic game, thanks to all developers !!!

I guess (and hopefully) BOB will be out in Q2 2010.

What I like most about the sim is the fantastic
Flight Modelling, this was quite some development
in comparison with the IL-2 Beta 2001.

2nd thing I like most is the dynamic campaign,
good story line behind it. Makes the sim also
intresting as historical knowledge.

Tough pity that new flyables and AIs were not added
to the dynamic campaign.

Yes, Sir... still on board since then. Which year was it?
Before I got the driving licence or later ?
After or before my marriage?
Before the first kid?
What? I did still live then ?

No, it is really nice to play one game for such a long tie and I also enjoy contributing to it!

About DGEN: I don't love it so much, DCG is a bit better - but both have their PROs and CONS ... Anyway, with DCG you can play all new games and maps!

No beta here, but did download the demo the first day it was released and have not play CFS any version since. Yep, the best money ever spent on a computer game. Still have a copy of that demo somewhere.

Similar to Billy, I got Sturmovik on its release in Britain - (just about) learned to take off - went online - and quit Warbirds, all in a week. Never looked back
