Default Game Crash when exiting after 1.07.18301 (FIX)

I did not have this issue of the game crashing on exiting the game until I installed the following windows updates.

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x64-based Systems (KB2604115)

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x64-based Systems (KB2656373)

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x64-based Systems (KB2656411)

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x64-based Systems (KB2686831)

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB2604121)

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB265636

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB2656405)

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB2686827)

I then did a system restore and the crash has gone, so its an issue with .NET framework.

Sorry I cannot be more specific on which update out of the above 8 or if its a combination of some or all of them.

Cheers Andy,

Will try but to be honest I have lost interest/faith in the game after so much hope,
reverted to the last 'Official' patch and won't touch it until/if the next one is released on Steam.

Exactly what I have done as the official patch runs the best compared to the betas for me...

actually i'm running the latest beta and i have no problems with the game
however there are some bugs here and there but i want to test it a little more further
i'm pretty sure that the official patch will be great..but the question is when..
perhaps 2013

Yes, that´s it the point.

I was looking into this issue, the Beta patch have crashes in the .net interface, when exiting from the game or selecting recorded tracks for example.

The problem is caused by one of this Windows updates :

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB2604121)

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB2656368 )

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB2656405)

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB2686827)

They are critical security fixes that modify .net files.

This problem is fixed when you execute a repair in Framework 4 because the reparation will restore the files to the original state, erasing the critical security fixes modifications in the files.

BTW , I guess this thread is important for everyone who want this game fixed so pls ... let aside the developer bashing.
