Default does anyone no marketing

i just read other posts, about the not so great marketing of il2 bop.
Does anybody know with why. the site will be up soon oke thats cool for us but a lot of people ,kids dont look there, they just check gamesites, i saw some at gamespot i, thougt. but whats there stragedie,
are we blowing to soon from our big tower, or is this normal? maybe its because of the different country from were the publisher is from. Or do they want things first on track before coming out(but they show uss earlyer on a show presetation?
Your ideas please guys?
Ps:This is no bitching from my side, just interesent in de background of this whole marketing thing

It's anybody's guess I don't think your going to get a straight answer.

Like I said in a previous post, 505 is the publisher of a little game called Arma2 But that game has a few publishers, so who knows why they are not advertising this game more. It don't make sense if the game is even 6 months to a year away you think a website would be key, you would be able to reach a ton of more people months before the game even comes out. To me if you don't advertise early and there is so many more games to choose from, some games get lost on the shelves. Just look at 505's website you might understand they really don't have any blockbusters and their advertising program might be the reason why.

Thats what i mean, hopefully i will go wel, but look at dead space and more games they are good, but snowed under by say, many games out that month(people dont knowtes), or marketing was not enough, there is a lot of competition on the market and a lot of kids, adults dont have enough money to buy all, so the go with the populair ones.its just suchs a wast, so if theres a good reasen for these thinks i like to know, from pure interest point of view(
sorry for bad writing, dutch eehh

Hi Phil,

Love your collection R/C Tanks. Funny how many of us sim lovers shares the same interest. F1 racing, WWII. I'm the proud owner of an Armortek 1/6 scale Panther. Check out
I'm planning to built a Tamiya Sherman this year. Owned some of the funny, but terrible HenLong copies and also sold them in my shop. Concept is great but technoligy sucks.

Im starting to be afraid that they are not going to publish this game anymore, or some serious delay is going to happen. Like we will see this game in stores in next year or so. This is unbelievable holding back and keeping secrets for them. Did something happend with publisher and is there big problems..

Very cool Panther! I like the Heng Long tanks they are cheep and I can get stuck in and chop them about, must say the new Jagdpanther is a good copy of the Tamiya even down to the bits that need changing!

Can't wait to get Birds of Prey, maybe it will make me get a War bird RC plane and stop flying my Heli's!

Phil

Anton assured us that unless WWIII breaks out(lets hope Korea keeps quiet), the game will not slip 2009.
