Default Clouds and reflections...

People talk a lot about these two... in conf.ini:

CloudsFlags.Detailed=1

and

TexFlags.Reflection=0

Someone tested if we have some gain in performance and visuals changing to

CloudsFlags.Detailed=0

and

TexFlags.Reflection=1

I've tried the relections line. It does nothing.
I just deleted my conf.ini file from both, the steam and docs folder and did a "local files" check to get a new config file. The reflections line is not even there anymore.

Strange. After I played few sorties with it, the line reapeared and with a zero at he end.

Turned it back to 1, but it does nothing.

First clear your cache and make sure you make back up of the config files you download.

Go to the D:/steam/steam apps/Il-2 cliffs of dover/ and back up your conf.ini file, then delete it. D being the drive where you have steam installed).
Then make a back up of the conf.ini file in Documents/1c SoftClub/ and then delete it.

Now start steam, go to library, right click on Il-2 cliffs of dover and click properties. Click pn Local files tab and click "verfy integrity of game cache".

Steam will check your game files, descover you are missing the config file and redownload the latest one.

I don't know. I noticed few new clouds in the first beta for this patch. Here are some screens:
