Default crosshair on Revi

Why we still can have the blue crosshair even when the illumination of the Gunsight is totally turn off? and this blue one will disappear if the AC is up side down. it's a bug or not?

my wild guess is that it's the reflection of ambient light inside that causes the blue crosshair effect, that's why it's not visible when upside down.
