Default Nvidia GeForce 280.19 Driver BETA

Sadly nothing in it to fix thw poor SSAO and anti aliasing etc... on my gtx 580 with 3gb of memory.

Poor thing runs the game smooth as silk on full graphics... just all the edges don't look smooth at all outside of the cockpit.

another month or so waiting i guess.

Love the game 1c team you rock!

Strange... SSAO works really nice and with good performance here in one 560 Ti. This beta driver have OK perfotmance too, maybe a little bit more FPS.

i've got the previous drivers with everything in high and very high and the sim runs great
no ssao no really test it with it
i've got some stutters over terrain but is very playable
don't expect the drivers to do anything
wait untill the devs optimised the game better

Ram doesnt make a difference to SSAO, SSAO needs calculations, the reason why its slow is most likely bad or no optimization. I cant run it in ROF for example, but thats because its not great on DX9. A big problem with COD seems to be the programming lagging behind the technology and techniques that are needed to pull the game off.

Skouras & LoBiSoMeM,

If I post up my config and nvidia control settings can you compare to yours and let me know if there are any suggested changes that may improve image quality thanks.

I just get the feeling that my settings could be tweaked to improve the overall visual. things in the distance and edges of planes just look jaggard.

I know patches will come along to address all this, but I see some vids and screen shots where everything looks as it should when played at 1920x1080.

Will post tonight when I get home

It seems SSAO has no real negative impact on me as well, what kills my framerate are clouds, less than half fps with heavy clouds on (60-80 down to 30 in quick mission bomber intercept channel).

Frame rates are not an issue it is the quality of picture. Smooth llines.. The worst bug in this game that gets me is seeing the wire from the tail to behind the canopy on planes and it looks like a perferated line on the road. you know dash..dash...dash.. should be a fine line.

anyway will post my images, config and nvidia setup tonight for review

Yeah, that wire, been playing around with screen resolutions, but alas it remains perforated.

*speculation*

There is no fix for FSAA if there was Luthier would of spoken about it.
Luthier has NEVER once spoken of the lack or fixing of FSAA, this is it.

CLOD uses a in game version of FSAA, thats it. its not getting better.

Nothing you do outside the game will affect it.

we have FSAA x2 in sim released in 2011, End of story and it sucks.
