Need a few terms explained

Hey there

I've been reading the forums and I am getting rather lost by some of the terms used so I'm wondering if someone can explain them to me (one in particular).

Haven't seen a glossary of terms around that I can refer to either.

In particular the one that is confusing the hell out of me (and in fact the only one I can currently think of) is prop pitch - everyone refers to fine and coarse.

Am I right in thinking that fine = 0% and coarse = 100%?
