LAN gameplay?

So is it possible to play this in LAN?

Our squadron are going to meet next weekend and mostly we are playing previous IL2 but lots of guys have bought this new release and we are wondering if we can test this in LAN?

There isnt internet connection (mobile sticks so we can go to steam etc but speed will be so slow that we cant play with it).

I googled lot and didnt find any answers for this

Lots of virtual squadrons do train on LAN so if this is not possible with CLOD...
