The little lines are cursors from info windows, Luthier said they know about them and will fix them in a patch.

To change or disable the throttle HUD or any other window (status/damage/chat window, AI radio chatter, the blue messages on the right-hand side of the screen):

1) Is your mouse cursor visible on the screen? If not, enable the mouse cursor/clickable interface first. The default key for this is F10.

2) With the clickable interface, clicking pushes the cockpit switches and alt-clicking interfaces with the info windows. So, hold the alt key and left-click on the info window you want to change.

3) The info window will now be selected/in focus. If you right-click on he window you get three options: create new window, edit the existing window, close the existing window.

If you close an info window you can't just bring it back in the future because it's not saved. You will have to manually create that window from scratch by creating and editing a new one.

Also, it might seem that you can't resize or move some windows but there is a way.

To resize a window the borders must be visible. Edit the window first to enable the borders, then drag the borders to change size. Edit it once more if you want to hide the borders again.

To move a window the title bar must be visible. Edit the window to enable the title bar, then click on the title bar and drag the window to a new position. Edit the window again if you want to hide the title bar.
