Default rat a tat tat, shwooooshhhh boom

Hey everyone, i am new to this forum and new to IL2, i beat the game yesterday. but not new to the WWII flight sims, my favorite of any genre of game for any platform.

i dont know if its possible for PS3 users, like Xbox. but seeing as i dont see any clan support for this game i want to see about getting one started.

i think that it would be really fun for me and 7 other players to set up strategy and manuvers for a real simulated online experiance.

i hope one day that there will be contests for teams, against other teams around the world.

im not saying im Racist, or a bigget of any kind... but i would love to actualy shoot down some germans. from germany that is...

any one have any ideas or ways to create a user based clan support for this game? a way for 8 players to join the same game and fight on the same side?

If any one would like to fly with me and have some fun shootin down bad's Majictoast is my PS3 name, and i live in japan, (US Military) so add me. i currently have 0 peeps to play IL2 with at the moment.

also alst thing. i was doing a bombing mission. i had to destroy an airfield and my Bomb Dropping crosshair went away. i spent 45 minutes having to guess where to drop my bombs hahahaha any one else have that problem before?

No clan system, but you can just get a group of friends and invite the into the same game as you. I'll add you, sim is all I play as well, but other people rarely play it...

EDIT: go here: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=9800 if you want Sim players on the PS3. If you would like, I can also add your name to the list

Feel free to visit this thread for some people to add to your friends list.

hey thanks, i dont know if i can Ace anyone in Sim, because i have not really tried it out. i like realistic. except for when i played the demo on realistic and i had 4 bombs on each wing and the slightest pitch would cause me to spiral down, haha that was verrry frustrating,

but i really like this game because this is really based on skill. i recently quit World of Warcraft. that game is just garbage now. its a shame.

but this IL2 has me hooked and im really looking forward to seeing you guys online, well the ones on the PSN that is.

Thats because the Elite model comes with a headset as standard. And MS sell a "LIVE starter kit" that has a headset, HDD, and live time card iirc. Plus the standard headset for the Xbox is much cheaper than the bluetooth version since it plugs into the controler, using its wireless connection.

and that is somthing eye did not know, thanks for the input.

also just FYI any bluetooth headset is compatible with the PS3. you dont have to buy the PS3 one. but the advantage is that the PS3 head set is specially designed for gaming so its battery lasts longer, and the quality of the microphone is better. so that is why its more expensive.

sometimes it really bothers me when people have a really weak/cheap headset and log onto the PSN and when they talk it sounds like a distorted radio show from the 1920's

its ok trk you will get me in your cross hairs and you will fire lots of bullets at me.

but i hope im in that tank aircraft that seems to withstand about every bullet my sorry ass plane has to offer. the IL10 i think it is? or IL2 i forgot. the one with the rear gunner who's bullets just seem more accurate then mine. and far more deadly.

not poking fun at anything... but this guy names Meangunner was in this bird. and i failed at taking him down time after time.

it was almost like shooting him, made him stronger and faster...
