I have 2 sticks that I can't get to work.
Saitek X52 - had little hope for this one Hori Flight Stick from AC5 (PS2) - I don't see why this one can't work. It looks just like the Flight Stick that came with AC6 for the PS3. When I plug it into the PS3, it just says unknown USB device detected. I would gladly buy this game if I could get one of my sticks to work, but you devs have to understand that I own about 4 sticks, 4 wheels, and 5 fake guitars. I'm done buying a new controller each time a new game comes out. |

I'll leave it. Just how "old" can a 4 year old joystick be? Don't think much has changed in technological advancements of joysticks. It's just a money grab to sell newer controllers. Hell, I can plug in a 15 year old joystick on my PC and play most everything. No excuse for it. Just don't blame it on the "hardware". It's laziness. There is no reason I should spend $50 to $100 on a stick everytime a new game or a new console comes out, especially when they all use the universal connector that is USB, and most of them can have at least rudimentary function from generic drivers. |

It seems to me like you just came on here for a rant!
I know it sucks, but why should a PC flight stick work on a games console? I tried my PC stick and was disappointed too, however that has always been the way things have worked. Constructive critisism is a good thing, but just ranting helps no one. Also, I don't think we need another stick thread( ![]() PS Welcome to the forum. ![]() |

I tried my Saiek Cyborg Evo for BoP, and it would work fine on my ps3 if only they would allow custom config (ie swapping buttons and analogue axes). I emailed 1c about this and was simply told that BoP requires a 'PS3 compatible flightstick', however 'May be we could add support for other joysticks later'.
So if you want to play with a stick on release, you need one of the ones listed in all the other threads, or you can cross your fingers and hope that the developers decide to add support for other sticks or even better, custom configs. |

Only thing is the controls all weird..the actual thrust control ends up doing yaw, and twisting the joystick changes thrust. The hat works fine for looking around cockpit as does the trigger for shooting machine guns. This is all in the demo, I am picking up the full game today and seeing if I need to buy a new HOTAS or not. |
