Default Forgotten Battles & Xbox gamepad on a laptop

Hello,

I've got out my old copy of Forgotten Battles and installed it on my new laptop. Unfortunately the laptop does not have a gameport connection. Is there any way I can get my USB Xbox 360 controller to work ?

I have tried but I can't see that it is being picked up by the game. I cannot reconfigure the controls or axis's.

I have searched but all results refer to IL2 Birds of Prey.

Any assistance would be gratefully received.

I'm guessing that you are not gonna be checking back here after your last post but just in case:

360 wireless controllers do work with PC, as long as you have a wireless dongle (USB). "gameports" are no longer used on pc, it's all USB these days, and 360 is also USB so you can use the hardware on PC as well.
