Default Will the pet dragon change in physical appearance?

I don't know if this has been asked yet, but I'd like to know if the dragon will ever look different when it grows. I hope so. I'm not too keen on playing with a Pokemon for the entire game.

No, it won't, as the dragon needs centuries to grow up

Really? No, it does not. Think about dragon eggs that you can collect during the game. New-born dragons are already mature, so they must grow very very fast.

It's little sad that the domestic dragon does not grow. I would like to see that beast becoming bigger etc. On the other hand, small dragon is cute i love it especialy movies with the snail named pet_happy
