Problem with Mirabella

I killed the Kraken an then I talk to Mirabella but she still asks me to kill the Kraken. What now?

Lucky James is in the cave and I'm unable to get the password to reach him.

Right where you land to go up to the cave there a hut where a pirate lives. He has the password.
