Bartolomeo Barta Pirate?

Have you guys resurrected Bartolomeo Barta. You pay 20000 for a key and when you open his sarcophagus he pop's up talk with you and disappear? In the russian manual it is said that you can defeat him and get a reward from him (if i had understand it correctly) Had someone done this ? If so where is he?

He'll be on a small island in Eastern Islands after you free him. I can't remember what the reward was but I think it was ok. He is somewhat hard to beat until you get to level 13 or so.
