I have many IL2 videos online with many different actions etc..
But today I was surprised when I saw one of my videos called "Basic Flight Maneuvers" was removed from Youtube. That video contained only IL2 content flied only by me, demonstration of basic maneuvers and nothing else.. I spent a lot of time to make that video looks nice.. And question is.. is it illegal to upload IL2 videos without permission of game makers... or there happened something mysterious ![]() |

How do you know its removed? Given the hundreds if not thousands of IL-2 related videos...

Maybe you used copyright music for it?
I had that problem but was warned to either let youtube remove the music or they would remove the video. Check your youtube account messages. |

Almost all IL-2 videos have copyrighted music on them...even my videos too...Not easy to make your own orchestral theme to an IL-2 video. I actually don´t think it hurts to have copyrighted music on a video. Why? Because some people always want to know what music you used (I always credit the artist with what song etc) and some people actually buys the artist music or get interested in the artist etc. I think the artist don´t mind, it´s free commercial! |
