Single-Player Skirmish Mode?

Searched forum back 6 pages and didn't see an answer.

Does KB come with a single player-skirmish mode?

No it doesn't. The devs have focused on single player. Don't let that discourage you though - the game kicks ass.

I for one would like to see a hotseat multiplayer mode. But I can wait for an expansion for that.

A standard skirmish mode wouldn't really make sense for the game.

The game plays like a standard Final Fantasy game, you control your guy, you explore the world, fight, and level up. Main twist is that it's using the HoMM/KB gameplay.

An important part of the gameplay is to build up your character throughout the entire game and go through the story.

Skirmish works for HoMM because the game is played in matches.

I wouldn't mind seeing some great modes that increase replay value though. Like challenges or an endless dungeon after beating the game.

Well the boss fight does feel like Final Fantasy.
