Which one of the allies has the strongest armiy

I'd guess the Elves, those Ents are really scary. The demons are second and then vikings and last dwarfs.

Is there any way to improve the allies' armies? The dwarf army that I used against the first enemy (undead zombie army) gets crushed, mainly due to the archers and throngs of vampires.

Get better items and stronger rage skills.

Ok, managed to do that.
Now I'm stuck with 2nd Guilford, the constant death stars decimated my armies quite quickly. Will have to try again.

not sure if my gear stacked with their troops, but the elven army was the best one to control in the end. I personally had full "Shooter" team except one, so my gear was all about shooter/archer attack. So going in there with that, the elf archers had about 120-130 attack up from their base attack of something like 26-30.

Ended up one shotting his first form and also one shotting the second form... 90k+ damage from archers doing crits with berserking skill is a bit nuts

if having trouble with him, try my army: elf (the basic elf archer) and the better grade elf (the advanced elf archer), goblins with catapults, goblin shaman, and demonologist. Last one is important due to being able to summon distractions, nothing will get near you - ever.
