Default stick + control surfaces jittering

So yeah, if I move the stick from left to right, or up and down, the stick acts "jumpy". It isn't a smooth motion. Same goes for the surfaces outside (ailerons, elevator, rudder) They also act jumpy, they don't move in a smooth animation. I am able to run the game on very high setting, so that shouldn't be a problem. The problem persists if I turn down the graphics as well... Is this normal, or is there a solution for it?

This is normal in CLoD. Even if your game runs at 100 fps, the stick and control surfaces move at 5fps. NOthing you can do.

Not normal in the version I play (latest steam version)??? Sounds like there is something amiss.

Is it affecting the handling of the aircraft or just visual?

Like Skoshi, since first version of CloD and even on my old C2D/4GB/GTS250
the stick and control surfaces move as expected.

Perhaps settings of refresh rate?

If you get actual jumpiness in our controls as well then more than likely it is a bad pot on the stick.
