Default So where are the Ice Dragons of Iceland?

Quest is called "Alliance with the Dwarves" and as the title says, I can't find the dragons. I've killed every living thing on Iceland except ONE invincible dragon stack. Quest progress shows 0 stacks of 3 killed. What's going on?

Check nearby the Griffin Roost on Iceland. There is a "dungeon" towards the mountains. You have to kill 3 VERY strong dragon stacks.

By the way, the griffin roost has a mission for the dragons as well... I suggest you save the game before making a decision.

The Griffin Roost is pretty close to the start of the island where you land.

Thanks for the reply. I've been to that dungeon already though. And that's where I killed all other monster packs except one which was invincible. This was before I got the quest to kill 3 Ice Dragons.

I checked the dungeon after I got the quest but there were no new monster packs. The ice dragons I'm meant to kill - perhaps they were the packs I have already destroyed BEFORE I got the quest? It's stupid if you can get stuck like this...

There are only 3 packs in that "dungeon" and that dungeon is the "peak of the ice mountain" which is outdoors.

Also, you can find a dragon castle there with a dragon queen (you dont' need to fight or kill her and are actually better off cooperating with her).

In the earlier patches, you could lock yourself out of the game if you pre killed them (3 dragon heroes who have NOTHING but dragons in their armies) before getting the mission. Not sure if they require a restart to fix that (ouch). Hope you have a previous saved game (I really dont' get why people don't keep a saved game for every experience level...)

In the later patches, you could pre-kill them before getting the mission and still get it.
