Default How to Select Iron Sights?

Is there any way to choose iron sights when your telescopic/reflector sight is still working?

I don't have Track IR so moving my head around isn't an option.

I think it's the only option you have, and you don't need TrackIR to do it. I do it with my mouse.

I don't know of any way for you to use the iron sights without the reflector sight being damaged. When the reflector sight is damaged the iron sights will deploy automatically.

There are fixed iron sights in some planes (i.e. P-40). Maybe he refers to those.

I dont have a head tracking device, so i used the keys to moove sideways in order to line up with the iron sight. I tryed in the La7, with the reflector sight still working. I think it is acurate, just as the reflector one. Maybe, weels_up Cavu was refering to some japanese planes, were the iron sight is folded, and if the reflector sight gets damaged the iron sight comes up. Those i dont know how to use. Just as you start a game, in the zero, you can see the iron sight going down, and there should be a way to bring it up. (not only by damage in the reflector.) The iron sight in the P40 its fixed in the aiming position(just like the La7, etc, so, to aim we only need to moove sideways (6DOF).

Yep, I was thinking of the iron sights in the Japanese A6M planes that fold down and there is no way to get them to redeploy unless the reflector sight is damaged.
