Default NIA Brain Computer interface

Is this the next Track IR? A bit tricky to master in the beginning but with practice it will apparently do the job. First hard- and software but an interesting development.

requires surgical procedure - micro connection to front brain lobe - there could be side effects

This appears to be dangerous! I imagine if someday the computer will be capable of send instructions to your brain and if will be possible to experience body sensations! If you will have headaches when turning hard or blackouts hehehe... I hope not!

Well, I have an implanted device that sends electrical signals into my brain, so I guess it's no surprise that it can work in the opposite direction.
Whether I'd be trusting my 'virtual life' to it is another matter.

Sounds like a lot of work just to play games. For now a keyboard+mouse works just fine.

Viking,

The picture at the link with the tubes connecting to the brain lobes was so crazy I just had to have some fun with it.

Seriously though, all kidding aside, the technology coming out in our day and time is truly amazing. Thanks for the link, I enjoyed the read.

Its Ok friend! I didn’t comment your post although Fuers post gave me the best laugh this year so far. I thoroughly agree with you abut the stuff they make today; amazing!

I've seen reviews for this device and it apparently works very well. And no surgery required folks, lol. They say that it takes twice as long to see a target and click the mouse button to shoot (in FPS games) than to think it with this device.
