Default Viking Class Impossible First Island How?

I was able to get really close to doing it before, but honestly compared to the other classes, this is a nightmare. I had 2 or so Call of Nature scrolls so I was able to do it, but without a surplus of Call of Nature scrolls, this is rough.

Rage skills aren't that strong unless you go specifically for Runic Power in the might tree which does give you a decent damage boost.

But without any chance to get into the magic tree (exp level 5 is the highest) it seems super hard. You have to rely on scrolls which is a crap shot.

Does anyone have a solid strategy to beating the first island no loss with the Viking and not using Call of Nature?

You are talking about no loss impossible run right?
I did it 2 times as viking, the first time i had call of nature scrolls but the second i didnt.
On my second run i did Ahriman without using any scrolls and on the necromancer i used few healing scrolls and few dmg-ing scrolls like Flaming arrows and magic missile.

Basically to kill both you have to be lucky with their leadership(some say it can vary 2x) and army composition. If some of them have max leadership it's more or less not doable.
With your standart army thay should be 'weak' to you.If thay are 'slightly weaker' or more then it's bad.
However on my second run when i saw the necromancer and he was 'slightly weaker' i thought i'm doomed, but when i entered battle and saw his army composition i thought he's doable becouse he didnt have any skeletons or any necromancers and his sceleton archers wasnt big stack.
He had 1 stack of ghosts, 1 weak stack of zombies and something like 5 stacks of vampires and ancient vampires.

Yes, no loss. Thanks!

I got super unlucky. They were both Strong and I didn't have an XP shrine so I was level 4.

However, if I were to pass it, it had some good items... blah. Thanks, I didn't realize the variance was that large that they could be 'weak'.

Ok at least now I know to keep trying new games!

yes very tedious work if you ask me

I mean sure it's possible but that you are reliant on the RNG style lol, i thought this game was about strategy and tactical play not about luck
