My skins at cliffsofdover.fr

I've discovered that my skins are all over the site cliffsofdover.fr although I've never uploaded a single skin there so I would like to ask anyone who is uploading my stuff there to stop at once.

I also want the skins already up to be removed. I think it's great to have a site where skinners can upload their work if they like, but I have my own site and I like my skins to be there and there only because, A, I want control of what I offer and have the ability to update and change things when I need to, B, I want my skins to be downloaded with the proper credits and information as I chose and C, I want anyone who likes my work to go to my site and learn what I have to offer in addition to the CoD skins.

So please respect this in the future. I didn't want to make this a PM to the webmaster only as is I'd like everybody to know this since anyone can upload skins.

Beside my interests, isn't it better that skinners without sites can show their work there without getting flooded with skins that are available elsewhere anyway?

Hi Cpt Farrel,

I'm new to this site but I understand your concern. I just visited your site and I must say I am very impressed with your skins. I can certainly see why you would want people going to your site to download them.

I'll be downloading many of your skins (from your site only) for both Cliffs of Dover and IL-2.

Thank you for the skins. I'm looking forward to seeing them in-game.

Cpt Farrel, I feel your pain bro.

I had the same problem with that site and my skins, and after persisting, I finally had my skins removed from the site. They are still advertised there though. If you click to download a skin of mine, you would be directed to where I have put them for download.

It IS the group's responsibility not to upload skins to that site without permission from the authors, but for the ones that are there, I'm sure if you contact "Gourmand", he'll fix it for you.

I like the way he has the cheek to have a donate button aswell...
