Textures not loading on buildings in sections

I just wondered if anyone experiences whole sections of textures on building not loading quickly enough. where they appear light brown in color and are faceless, but as you fly over them the textures appear? Anyone know how I can stop this?

Have you tried setting buildings to unlimited? It seems to help with buildings popping up.

if so, its know bug ... the kind the devs seem not to care about.

That seems to be the same rendering engine/issue that was a real big annoyance in the original Il2 (even now). It's almost like there is a big bubble around the aircraft and anything inside that bubble gets drawn, anything outside stays bland and faceless. As the 'bubble' moves, so buildings get there textures and ones that move outside it, become faceless.

I'd rather just have generic faceless buildings that don't have 'pop-up', than the irritating 'popcorn' buildings

If this was a school report I would end it with "Could do better".

Who knows....maybe they will once we get a retail patch....(one day )
