Default any working fixes for nividia users?

hey guys...a squadmate just came back after a long journey, and now after installing the beta patch, he has terrible stutters...he says that these are continual and pretty regular every second...

i already told him to fix the netframework and run the dxsetup in the steam folder...but with no joy.

as i have a ati card, i have no glue whether there are fixes for this, and if which...

help would be appreciated.

Had a similar issue in testing the new patch. Turning trees off made the sim liquid smooth even with all else maxed out.
Of course I'm sure you already tried that. Best of luck.

301.42 is the latest WHQL driver, if memory serves (and apparently has some problems... according to reports)
304.48 and is the last Beta release, with 304.79 being the latest

Even duct tape can't fix stupid... but it can muffle the sound.
