Hi everyone Please could someone help? Had a problem for a while now and have had a few problems finding out whats causing it.
Problem is I join game through hyperlobby no problem then after a minute or two sometimes a few seconds, I get a 'disconnection from local host, reason timed out' message? did all the usual things port forwarding, DMZ, switched off firewall etc, even changed routers, but still the problem persists? I have one pc on my network so no problem sharing, also wirless is switched off. while I'm playing online everything is fine and the play is smooth, so this problem is really bugging me! ![]() Any input from network Guru's much appriciated Thankyou? ![]() |

Have seen this problem before, and it was a problem with the players' ISP. Call them and explain your problem. I believe in his case, it was a problem with a node on the ISP's system. You could have them run a traceroute if you don't know how, and that might tell where the problem is.

I maybe oldfashioned, but this is a good address for getting help quickly:
http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/frm/f/49310655 As Monterey posted, I guess it's an ISP-problem, but I am pretty sure there were several people with the same problem posting in the forum noted above. As a sidenote, Monterey, your avatar is really funny. FLYAP38 on a Mercedes - LOL. |

An update, I did a traceroute myself but found no obvious problems, the software said I have a quick connection no nodes were showing problems on the read out. When I connect with hyperlobby the game I usually connect with, has only a 15m/s response time, so no problem with pinging there either!

I have this same problem with my desktop, timeout in almost all servers and bad connection in coops (my plane is “jumping” all the time). But I have no problems with my laptop, no timeouts even not being powerful enough to run Il2 properly. I´ve copied the laptop’s conf.ini over the desktop, reinstalled Il2, even reinstalled Windows, but no luck, the problem still persist. Right now I have no idea what’s causing the problem.
