Default new to men of war

hi guys im new to this game, so far I like it alot, very good game, many good points.

However there is one thing that annoys the hell out of me, its that I can't seem to select more than 10 units at a time, now please tell me there is a way to change this because that would be a huge letdown.

Default rookie as well

Id like to know that as well it would be nice if I could make up units I want.. Also since I am new to this game as well, I am going to piggy back your question

Is there a guide that tells me how to use units?
I cant figure out the officers or the radio guys are they supposed to do something or just get shot.

I am missing something I know because I cant figure out how to have an engineer repair a tank, or does it have to be an engineer I tried to use the repair box maybe tank to damaged?

I really enjoy this game and am glad I found a good forum I anticipate asking a lot of silly questions for that I hope you all have patience. I am old and need help to make my gaming experience more concise. And other than my grandson coming over and laughing at me and calling me a noob, I am, I would rather just ask the silly questions and hope I get some good responses.
