Default how many sims do you know that make use of

Multiple cores. I think Falcon4 was originally coded to make use of multiple cores. How many others? Rise of Flight is another one that comes to mind. I think the new Microsoft simulation does too. Wings of Prey?

Slightly OT, do you think PCIe 3.0 is a worthwhile upgrade for a gaming rig built primarily to run sims like IL2_COD?

Is it worthwhile to only use an SSD to hold both the OS and the sims?

I'm so close to building a new rig (around the GTX 680, but there's so much out there to sort through).
I'm playing catch-up, and appreciate the assist.

You need quite a big one to hold both, I have a 64GB and it's not really big enough to hold anything but the OS, unless you want to spend a lot of time messing about, I am wondering about faster 128GB as an upgrade.

One thing, do set the BIOS driver? to ADHC? from IDE before you install the OS, I think you can do it after, but it's fiddly and complicated.

Default thanks for the tip, Igo.

I'm trying to sort out a new build (again).
