Default Noticed Something Cool

The other day I was flying as gunner/bombadier in a Blenheim and we got hit by flak. I noticed something incredibly cool that I'd never seen in another combat flight sim.

The panelling on the Blenheim wing was fluttering as the airstream tried to tear it off. It was flapping up and down, trying to peel away. Stuff like that may not be part of the performance of the game engine or the accuracy of the flight model, but it definitely made me stop and say 'wow, this game is pretty cool.'

Have a look for it the next time you get hit in a Blenny!

Yep! That's the sort of thing I saw. Very cool since I never knew it was in the game.

Let's go, patch!

that was awesome! the effect is from DX 10 I wish they would just port to DX11 would be much better optimization.

no....i used the in-built recording tool.
while i played the mission, i used my custom video settings, where i get between 50 and 60fps, and recorded it with those low settings.
then i put the graphics on high, and converted the track into an avi file, again with the available decoders of the game.
so one can make pretty decent videos, even with such a low end machine like mine.
