Default why not statistics points for ground attack??

I really have to say is so unfair that one ground attack pilot ( ju-87, he-111 etc... ) trying bombing the enemy airfield, radars, armors etc... and when check the mission, not statistics points. So funny!! Not all people like kill bf-109 and spitfires. I hope thats one of the long bugs lists to fix for the next patch. other way I throw away this game and wait for " World of WarPlanes "

I'm sure there will eventually be statistical points. Again COD was released unfinished so the developers still have alot to finish up. I'm sure World of WarPlanes will be a stats fest, but time will tell if it has enough realistic options to lure the IL-2 community. Wings of Prey came close, but came up short, maybe WarThunder, World of WarPlanes will be different.

Whats the point in having points when you have no awards for points , no medals , no promotions , no career.

If you are talking about online play then you can see your ground kill stats on some servers:

Try out the ATAG servers Axis and Allies. I don't have comms or a fancy computer, hell I got 4G Verizon for Internet and I have a blast bombing ships and AAA and British supply depots/armories with the Bf110. Sure some times I come home with one engine or a watery grave but I also vulture\Dogfight some Blenheims that are warming up on the ground at Littlestone great fun.
Then when I'm done I visit the stats page at ATAG webpage and then gather my stats and save to an excel spread sheet to keep track of my air and ground kills. AAA\Artillery and ships are counted in stats but I have hit tanks and not gotten an armour kill yet, maybe I should hit them harder.

Until we get a career with medals and some sort of stats this has to be good enough.

The point is, that you are able to see, that you actually hit something. If you get medals and so on, is not relevant. But others may chech out their statistics on a websites, they would also be nice if you can see that it has destroyed targets on the ground. After all, what it ultimately is about. Meet its objects - destroy radiotower / Headquarters / ships
in coordinate XXYY. Yeah I know a lot, there are in just as a fighter jockey and go for dogfight. But thats simply to smaal a road for me, so I like planing my ingress and egress, route and stuff, so I think its fair to all bomber jokeys to gain some cind of points for the job they do.

Strangely enough one of the things I wanted in CoD was the ability to either turn points off, or not have them at all!
As a pretty much dedicated bomber pilot if I can get to a target, bomb it, and get home again then that is success enough for me!

Stats are a measure of progress and performance. Some people go so far as to live an die by them, encouraging some quite childish antics on-line just to get points, but most of us just want to know how we are doing. It adds something to the 'purpose' of CoD to see our stats alongside others as you can on some server websites. Also, there's a certain pride in trying to be top squad (after all the effort of training and working together) or in the top x of y players - which I usually am not .

Medals and Careers seem to be most appropriate for single player off-line play which is more focussed on specific limited objectives rather than the unpredictable nature of on-line missions and combat contacts.

Ground kill stats should be available and it would be good if ground-attack deaths could be recorded separately from air-combat deaths to get separate K/Ds but I'm not sure how that would be done - perhaps by target-damage identification.
