Default How to remove icon types in a track?

I play mostly on Warclouds, and I discovered after a while the server had icon types on. (I flew some days with icons turned of and I didn´t know what button which switced it on/off. You can say I never understood how the enemt could spot my markings/plane so far out.) I do record tracks for most of my sorties, but when I replay the track, i can´t turn off icon types even if I press "I" which only work when I am live on the server! Anyone know? I know how to remove chat in config by entering "0" in chat height and lenght, but dunno why I can´t remove icons in a track?

BTW: When engaging enemy planes, should I not see what planetype? Instead I get some sort of nick which is not liste when I type "O" to see who´s on. I can see my side, and when I see a plane with no name it´s a enemy, but when I am up close I see a nick but not listed?!? I have not downloaded anything but the 4.08/4.09 switcher. What do you see when you are behind a enemy on warclouds? A friend of mine said I should see ie. FW190 when its enemy. Someone know?

I know, but that only work while in the game. When I have recorded a track (quicktrack 00X) the shift-L or whatever the key binded does not work.

Not fancy having icon types in a video..

There was a tool that could remove Icons from offline-tracks, but it didn't work on ntrks recorded online. I don't know if there's any news on that side, but it would be a good option to be included for BoB.

To the Icons you see: You can toggle what sort of Icons you see. If you push your Icon-Toggle multiple times, you can see Planetype, Aircraft ID (Like Red 5 or something), range, color (side) and playernames. On servers these settings can be modified in range and appearance. On IL2 you won't see colored icons and no names for enemy planes, as well as no distance displayed.

If you have the icons active during the recording then you can't (by a key stroke) remove them from the image you see in the replay.

So if you don't want the icons when you are playing a track (for say, a movie) you have to remember to turn them off while flying.
