So, I begin to make a skin. (I've made skins before)
I have the basics done and go to see how it looks so far.. I find a couple of "void spots" on the skin and begin "swelling" the paint over the lines a bit, just incase I've stuck too close. I try this over and over, wasting an hour or two and end up pulling out way too much hair when "the thought" comes to me.. The thought.... Hmmmm.. with everything else as incomplete as it is in CloD, maybe... just maybe the skin that they released, is ALSO incomplete.. Go back into the game, load up the skin that was released with one of the updates, and of course.. the same voids I had in my skin.. were in the official release aswell.. <-- I am completely astounded by this... Not to mention how PO'ed I am that I wasted so much time without checking (what should have been a "working") default skin, for us to work with. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyone found the location to any of these seven points yet? ![]() ![]()

The skins that shipped with the game didn't have the frames we got with the pack of skins released a couple of weeks ago. Just keep the frame in a separate layer and turn it off before you flatten the image to make the jpeg. That will solve a few of the issues in your screens.
The only thing that is not fixable afaik, is the antenna wire lead-in. The various hatches and clips are spread around the template and the easiest way to find them is to study skins with different amounts of yellow on the enginecowling and see which areas are affected. |

Thanks for your response.
Though, that just means that all of these "voids" will be the same (background) colour, until we find out what area, controls what particular section of the skin. So i guess that means the question still remains for anyone that may know.

Hi.
Use these layers: panel finder color panel finder b&w I hope the numbers is small enough to find these small parts (you can zoom and drag easily the camera in external view, just set the keys). ![]()

After searching for what seems like an eternity..
And thanks to Tom's panel finder, I have found 3 of the locations for the "voids". Only 4 more to go. ![]()

Hi.
I made a comparison between "official template" and one of the original skin. I Selected the all white areas of the template, and I painted to grey everything else. See the difference? I think your missing areas in there somewhere.. big picture, click here Do not use the official template, use the original skin jpg as template. If you need panel lines, use these: http://cliffsofdover.fr/skin2.php?re...faut&trie=date
