Anyone care to share their tips on how to get the best out of using MW50? Such as when should it be engaged.... eg height, speed, radiator, throttle setting?

I read somewhere that folks engage it before actual take-off, but it only kicks in with throttle setting above 100%. That correct?

Yes, that's correct. MW50 is an automated system just like water injection on Allied planes. It will only be active above 100% throttle setting. Below 100%, if it is switched on, the system is operational, but it will not be used.

I switch it on when I start the engine and leave it on for the rest of the flight.
