Default Asian Servers?

Hi,

I am consdering picking up il-2 cliffs of dover on steam, but I am concerned about servers for the game. I am in Thailand and I can't seem to find info on Asian servers for il-2 CoD. Is there a list anywhere with servers on it? Are there servers in Singapore, Malaysia, the Phillipines, Thailand, or other s.e. asian countries?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Andrew

Those are the servers that you see in the multiplayer menu. 2 big server, from US (ATAG) and RU (Repka). I do not know any Asian server. A few months ago an Australian guy is looking for people here, I think the problem was the time zone too (in the CET evening there are a lot of people on the servers). Ask on Il-2 Sturmovik forums – if there is any, in your country. Typically, who play now, they played the Sturmovik too.

not owning the game I wouldn't know, but that doesn't sound inviting so will probably pass on it for now.

If no servers appear in Multiplayer during your time zone (or if they are empty) that may answer the question about SE Asian CoD community but then they may not attend assuming there's no-one else. In any case you may find the non-asian servers workable from the connection point of view and just being there could attract more players.

Other ways, apart from leaving this thread open is to look/post on the Ubi forum
http://forums.ubi.com/forumdisplay.p...liffs-of-Dover
which is the official forum of the distributor outside Russia (I believe).

ATAG server has very playable ping from across the globe due to its high speed connection, e.g. 150 from Moscow, Russia.

This guy http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=29379 connects to ATAG from Khabarovsk (Asia/Far East)http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...=h&z=6&iwloc=A
His videos represent his gameplay on ATAG server. He has no problems with ping as far as I can see.
