Smile Spitfire Mk.1 Flight Test - English Aeroplane Mag - Jan 12 issue

I have just received my copy of 'Aeroplane' January 2012. On page 50 is an excellent flight test of the Spitfire Mk.1 (P9374) by well known warbird pilot John Romain.

After reading his flight test you can get into the sim and emulate it very closely (from memory) - I am still waiting for my new upgraded computer, a delay with the graphics card?

This Spitfire is so unique, which is fully brought out in the article. Would I personally like to fly it!!!! - you bet.

they surely did a fantastic job with P9374

there are going to be some exciting new planes flying this year possibly: the P-47M in Duxford, the IL-2 Sturmovik (which is already flying, albeit powered by an Allison engine), the P-61 Black Widow in the USA, then more Bf109s and FW190s.

Don't forget the 190A8 out of Baton Rouge, LA. My old boss owns it. Words can't really describe it so I'll just say that it's pretty freakin' cool.
