Default Just some thoughts... Do you agree?

Well these are just my opinions of things that somewhat disturb me in a game that can look so good! This post is just to see if people have the same opinion as me or if its in my head only...

1. Hit flashes... Can someone correct me if Im wrong here but, should the 303´s from the Spits and Hurricanes produce hitflashes when they hit their targets? A little smoke would make sense but currently with default ammobelt, the produce rather large hit flashes when they hit their targets! Even worse, they produce big flashes even when they hit water and ground! I would expect water splashes and dirt flashes, but no small explosions from small rifle calibers?

Now, the 20mm produce hitflashes so big that they momentarily blind you from the target. Sure, you can definately see when you hit them but when you do, you cannot see the target anymore due to the huuge size of the flash...

This is what is should look like

and here

Speaking about the 20mm. Which 20mm round is the most devasting one in the ammobelt??

2. LOD´s! You see plane from far away and you fly towards them just to have them disappear completely!! Just to have them reappear behind you and when u turn around to fly towards them again, same things happens till I get to the point where I dont care anymore and let them go. Cant chase ghost planes!

3. Antialiasing... well, we all know this one so I wont complain aboui it.. Currently Il2 1946 has LOTS better AA than Clod.. well we have been told it will be fixed so...

4. Flak, never have I been hit by flak, not when im strafing airfields or when im flying high. Is there a setting for experience level for the flak guns anywhere that I have missed?

5. No matter what I do I can never get my wingmen to engage a target! In the middle of a dogfight vs 5-6 enemies (offline) I hate to look back and see my whole squad flying in formation with me...??
I thought that would be kinda problem nr 1 to be fixed in a game thats built scenarios where planes are supposed to shoot planes down?? Or did I miss something here??

6. The force feedback. I know that most people dont have FF joysticks but for us who do its terrible. They have mixed up the force feedback for the 109s so that when you fire the cannons the 109 uses the same "shake file", also called shake.ffe as it does for stalling and damaged engine. Its the only plane where this is the case.
So, sure you can edit the force feedback with some editor program but if you lower the settings in the "shake.ffe" to be able to use cannons without the stick jumping of the table (and also impossible to aim) you also lose stall shake and damaged shake for EVERY PLANE in the game...
However as I said this issue is only with the 109. And for some funny reason, when you turn realistic gunnery OFF, the 109 uses the correct file for cannon shake, namely "autocannon.ffe" the same file that the 110 always uses no matter if if realistic gunnery is ON or OFF even though the usey the same 20mm cannon.. I.E the 110 doesnt make the joystick jump off the table when you fire the cannons..
This problem has been reported a few times, but in every patch nothing is mentioned...

Anyway, I just just had to vent...
I do like this game and I see that its becoming better and better, i just hope the devs are looking at our posts sometimes...

best regards
