Default Just a request for a Movie-Makers forum please?

That way threads and posts related to Movie-making and the problems with the in-game recorder can be addressed in a correct area?

Cheers, MP

At the UBI forums a Movie-Makers forum was created in about 2005. It was very active for years, and greatly helped the IL-2 movie-making community to advance.

A similar forum here would likely have the same result for COD movie-makers, both those new to the movie-making niche as well as the experienced greats moving up/over from IL-2 movies.

A movie-makers forum would be good to have as a central reference point for information about how to record tracks etc. The same questions keep cropping up and the info is spread all over the place.

At the moment though, I'd settle for having the 'COD Video's' thread back on the front page. Looks like Alpha sent the whole thread into the 'Multiplayer' section when moving some posts around.

I would like to add that a separate dedicated "Movie-Makers" Forum could/should focus upon the production of quality "Movies" through exchange of knowledge on technical techniques and tools, discussion of stories/screenplays, and Open constructive critiques of posted movies for those Movie-Makers who request critiques.

A single sticky thread at such a forum could be dedicated to simple raw captured 'videos', captured on-line action, whatever. The current COD videos thread could serve that purpose and could be moved to the New Movie-Makers Forum.

A COD Movie Competition/Festival could be organized and announced in a Thread at such a Movie-Makers Forum similar to the IL-2 movie competition of 2008.

I would volunteer to moderate such a "Movie-makers Forum"

FYI,
Here is the Announcement and Rules of that IL-2 2008 competition: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/t...8/m/4981073356

Here is the competition website with all entries: http://il2mdb.flightsimmachinima.com/2008-the-movies

Winners and prizes were announced here: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/t...8/m/3011047776
