Whenever i customize my Ammo loadouts by going to plane on the main screen there is no way to select my customized plane for quick missions. Even when i select Spit IIa in the quick mission it is not my customized Spit IIa.
Am i missing something? I can fly my customized plane online...but not in single player? Last edited by SIDWULF; 12-01-2011 at 06:51 AM. |

yeah its a known issue....loadouts will not work in the quick missions, as they are safed in the mission itself.changing gun gonvergence works, but not the loadouts itself.but one can adjust fuel amount i think.
loadouts will only work in self made missions or online.fo single player missions, you have to select your loadout in the fmb when you create the mission.if you safe the mission, and try to change your loadout afterwards in the plane options menu, wont work either....because the loadout is safed in the mission itself. |

there is a trick to customize your loadout in a Quick mission, it's a little bit voodoo, though! #1 backup your user in my documents/1C soft/Clod.. folder AND that one that you find in C/Program/Steam/Userdata/79895336/63950/remote/. All your customized settings are written in this place and are looking like this: [Aircraft.HurricaneMkI] conv _Gun03 Gun.Browning303MkII 120 120 conv _Gun06 Gun.Browning303MkII 120 120 conv _Gun00 Gun.Browning303MkII 120 120 conv _Gun01 Gun.Browning303MkII 120 120 conv _Gun07 Gun.Browning303MkII 120 120 conv _Gun02 Gun.Browning303MkII 120 120 conv _Gun05 Gun.Browning303MkII 120 120 conv _Gun04 Gun.Browning303MkII 120 120 belt _Gun03 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 5 1 10 Residual 25 ResidueBelt 10 10 10 10 10 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 belt _Gun06 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 5 9 belt _Gun00 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 5 1 belt _Gun01 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 5 9 belt _Gun07 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 5 1 belt _Gun02 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 11 10 11 belt _Gun05 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 11 10 11 belt _Gun04 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 5 1 10 Residual 25 ResidueBelt 10 10 10 10 10 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 beltPreset "D Angepasst" _Gun03 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 1 9 1 Residual 25 ResidueBelt 10 10 10 10 10 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 beltPreset "D Angepasst" _Gun06 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 11 9 1 beltPreset "D Angepasst" _Gun00 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 1 beltPreset "D Angepasst" _Gun01 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 2 11 9 beltPreset "D Angepasst" _Gun07 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 1 beltPreset "D Angepasst" _Gun02 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 1 10 9 beltPreset "D Angepasst" _Gun05 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 1 9 10 beltPreset "D Angepasst" _Gun04 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 1 9 1 Residual 25 ResidueBelt 10 10 10 10 10 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 weapons 1 regiment BoB_RAF_B_218Sqn loadout "D Angepasst" HurricaneMkI_WingGuns Default The main key is: it has to be copied and paste in your mydoc/1C/...folder. It seems also that you ve to activate the STEAMCloud syncronisation in Steamsetup. (voodoo? I am not sure at this point) #2 customize your Armor in the gunnerysetup, (where the beltpreset and convergence is) save it by "save under" your custom-name ("D Angepasst" in the example), click O.K. #3 Save your setup now in the TAB before(what is it in the engl version? Weaponpackage?) under the same custom-name which you used before in the gunnery setup, your fuel setting will be ignored, though. Click O.K. #4 quit CLOD, copy the user.ini C/.../ which contains your changings now and replace it into the "mydocuments"folder as I told you in Step #1. #5 Restart CLOD, go to Option-menu, a/c, select your new preset, sometimes in both TABs, click O.K. (Do it twice when it doesn't still show your preset after shutting the a/c-box, make sure to put some needles into your OLEG-puppet) Thats it, you should be able now to chose your personal preset in Quick- and Singlemissioneditor. You also can change the settings direktly in the .inis if you want to copy the convergence and the belt-setting from Spit to a Hurri f. ex. Hope works for you as well, but there's still a little voodoo to do ![]()

Also to be added!!
They have mixed up horizontal and vertical convergence in the QMB! Just be aware of this! So when you think you change vertical convergence you actually change your horizontal convergence and vice versa... Just wanted to point that out as well.. ![]() |

Has anyone else tested to verify if CloD actally computes/reads separate values for Hor and Ver convergence?
I tried setting vertical at a higher value than the Horizontal and tested in game - vertical trajectory seemed exactly the same irrespective of the value entered and matched the Horizontal value (even tried reversing as pointed out above - no difference).

wrt, I have been using direct editting of the user.ini files for my weapons loadouts for a hell of a long time and also aware of the reversal bug. The question I asked is wether CloD is actually able to interpret different Hor and Vert values for a gun. I see no difference in trajectory - try exaggerated values of H150 - V250 in the user.ini files. (try them reversed too!)
As far as I can tell, CloD sets the same Vertical as entered for the Horizontal irrespective of the distance value entered.
