A lot of us include our systen specs in our signature, but many leave out their screen resolution. Differences in screen res can make significant differences in performance. I may see a lot of FPS drops running at 1920x1200 while someone with a similar rig but a 1920x1080 screen may be running just fine. This may even help the developers understand why there are so many different results posted here.

Hmmm....good idea.
My native resolution is 1920x1080, I lowered the res to 1600x900 and have a pretty good performance gain. If I lower the res further I notice no performance gain whatsoever...... |

1920x1200 is a 16:10 aspect ratio.1920x1080 is a 16:9 aspect ratio.Maybe it is an aspect ratio thing.Not necessarily a resolution problem.

Hum that is the worse problem for LCD's they are so mediocre alas.. " I lowered the res to 1600x900" as soon as you change your native resolution the image quality drop full speed..

My point was more pixels = more work for the GPU. So knowing I have a 1920 x 1200 res. will explain why I may be seeing a big FPS drop while someone eles running with a lower ress with the same GPU will not.

but then again with bigger resolution you can use less AA....and gain performance
