When I switch on V-sync or AA or AF in the Catalyst control center (or whatever its name is) nothing happens in game.
I've read about AA and AF being porked but thought that V-sync worked. Just me and my drivers or is this for every ATI user? V-sync and AAx2 workes though if you turn them on in the game menu. I read the tweaking guide in the PC Pilot and he was happy cause turning off AA/AF in game and switching em on in CCC gave better fps. Well, sure does for me...as it doesn't work in CCC. |

ok...checked last night. works either way for me. In game or in CCC. I really didn't notice any difference in FPS either.

I have CCC (VECC) and none of those settings seem to work if i try them on the card. I have done a fair bit of experimenting, it seems the app overrides no matter what the card setting. This seems true across a number of games, like RoF, etc. Be nice if ATI published what did work-

You should try using Ati Tray Tools as it's able to force the config you want.
It also allows you to save a different configuration to run automatically with each game. CCC is mostly useless.
