I got a response from BestWay about GEM!

Per my earlier thread asking the community to e-mail Best Way, I got a response.

Here is what I wrote:

Please license the Gem editor for MOW Vietnam. This title could be the best if it had an editor and would also grow sales. This is the first RTS in the Vietnam Theater and the community is begging for an editor.

I got this response:

Hello!
Unfortunately, It is decided by publisher whether to include the editor to game or not, not by the developer.
However, the editor may be available in further patches or DLC.

Sooo...I guess they put the ball back in 1C's court? I realize there may be some politics and agreements/pricing that possibly stand in the way but if it's up to 1C as they say, maybe 1C will consider it? The fact she said it may be available in further patching or DLC is encouraging though.

Hey good job, let's hope for the best. I'd like to see an editor I just hope it's possible for them to release it easily enough.

that cant be right. as 1C say they cant release the Editor because of Best way.
