Just tried game booster 3, seemed to make the stock bomber intercept over London quick mission playable for me.I'm not a particularly technical user, but was watching the fps counter and it seemed to improve things especially in less intense missions and free flight.I don't exactly know what's going on under the hood in detail with game booster 3. I don't know, could just be a placebo but seems to improve fps for me.

I always use Game Booster and have just upgraded to 3. It certainly helps things on my system and I wouldn't be without it. Basically it shuts down any none essential processes, frees up ram and optimizes the game plus it has various utilities to tweak the system.

I use it and it's quite effective with my machine. It frees up memory more than improving FPS though.

Yes I tried it and it works great for freeing up memory and closing unneeded programs, gives only a slight FPS boost though.

I installed it here, but I noticed it only does some trivial stuff like shuting other programs down, and freeing up ram.
It does nothing usefull if you have RAM to spare and more than 2 core CPU.
