Hola:
I`m a mission maker in the ECV56 argentine squadron. Actualli I work in Fog of War maps, Force on Force. The TgT are a problem for mi. Don`t entend how work this. I only can put Tgt for 1 side (red or Blue), for example can`t select destroy ground for blue and for red, have to edit for 1 side destroy and defense. This is the problem, the WON no work as I wont, the time out for the Tgt no works as I wont. I try with primary, secondary and hiden, with time out in alll cases and I do not get good results. I need the WON when the Tgt is accomplished and give victory to a side. Saludos. |

If i understand correctly, you want to set attack targets for both teams?
I had the same problem a few months ago. It turns out that this is a limitation in the game engine, only one side can have attack objectives in a coop. I don't know if using the MDF and setting it up as a DF map will solve this, but last time i tried it on a modded install it didn't work in coops. |

Hi Etendar Its easy: you choose ONE side for targets, defence and attack, the program will unsderstand that the other side has a target to attack, then a symbol for defence will appear on the chosen side and a symbol of attack, on the other side... The only two problems: IL2 only sets until 75% for defence targets, if you want more you need to edit the mis file... Also, I think that works in one targets, if you want more targets, would be necessary a program like FBDj to rotate mapas after many targets being met... 28_Condor, tks for our response, I dowload the mission and test it.
As Blackdog_kt write is a limitation of the sim set the tgt for only one side. tks for ours response. P.D.: I work in DF maps with Fog of War, limit the aircraft and the pilots in base for more dificult. ![]() I also dont write well in inglish, I write/read much better in spanish/portuguese, If you wish my squad page in Brazil is www.gavca.com (I am also a mission builder ![]() In fact is not a limitation, but the logic of the system: you set only one side to attack/defense and the program invert the symbols for defense/attack. To IL2 all area of attack is an area of defence, and vice-versa. Saludos! |

I found the screen of mission that I used to explain the il2 system for targets another time (for me allways match my goals in build DF mission, including with FoG). You choose one side and set defence/attack areas: ![]() In game you switch side and and the IL2 program will reverse the symbol targets: ![]() EDIT: oops, I understtod what you want... the WON is in one side (the first choosed), the ohter obtain a "Primary target complet"... Your concern is not only about symbols on the map... You can use FBDJ to obtain this, or MDF in UP that chains maps throughof results with targets... Once a "destroy target" has been set for one side it is auto set for "defend" for the other side with one limitation:
If the attacking side is to destroy 100% of the objects within the defined circle, the defending side can only defend that target to a maximum of 75%. So once the attacking side destroys more that 75% of the target they will win despite having to destroy 100%. Does that make sense?
