Default Rioting in the UK

Its disgusting.

Looting and destroying small businesses and ruining everything...

For what cause?? A pair of trainers or just to cause trouble.

Makes me sick, i feel ashamed to be English right now. Absolutely ashamed.

What a bad few days for this country

Agreed the rioting is disgusting, especially in the way the rioters seem to be targeting small businesses (or so we're told) rather than larger multinationals that can handle the insurance claims, but it's easy to see that britians 18 to 25 year old have been badly affected by this conservative government.
Has anyone else noticed most of great britians rioting happens under conservative governments

Its terrible. But you should not feel ashamed to be English because of a few mindless thugs out of the tens of millions of law abiding citizens.
I'm proud to be English and British. Our Police will not stop until they catch these criminals and they are punished. This is a wake up call and I'm thinking this will lead to a bigger punishment for anti social behaveor in future.

Manchester city centre is going up tonight. Looting and petrol bombs down the main street.

They should clear all the police out and strafe these scum with a tornado

Theres two sort of people rioting it would appear all in the same age bracket 18-25, this age bracket in terms of university education and welfare state have been the hardest hit by recent conservative government policies, you get those rioting in a legit protest sense and those criminal opportunists who are taking advantege of the situation and carrying out the looting and destruction, to me it's not much of a suprise i expected some riots during this governments term, especially with the financial crisis as a back drop. It's no excuse in my opinion there are ways to get things done with more decorum

I disagree. This has nothing to do with the politics. There are no protestors. These gangs of teenagers do not care about such things. This is mindless destuction, rioting for the adrenalin rush and because they think it makes them "Hard".
